Pippa Middleton's Daily Telegraph column cut after six months: report

While she covered several topics during her short run with the British newspaper, it wasn't enough to renew her contract. ‘The readers just weren't into it,’ a source says. Pippa Middleton may be in "agony" after her Daily Telegraph column was cut after just six months.

"The readers just weren't into it," a source at the British newspaper told Us Weekly and confirmed that her contract is not being renewed. "There was a lot of negative mail coming in after each column," the insider added. "There were too many off-limit subjects for her. They ran out of ideas." While they seemingly struggled with content Kate Middleton's little sister could write about she did pen an array of columns from flipping pancakes to cycling underwater. In fact, she kicked off her gig with the paper after writing a story about boxing, which she called "a pure but pleasing agony." The 30-year-old scribe has been struggling to find her literary voice and it has not been easy street despite her royal connections. She published the party planning book "Celebration" through Viking Press, but because it did poorly selling only 18,000 copies, there are no future plans for other books at this time.
